Found via The Eastsider, The LA Flea Market is to hold their grand opening at Dodger's Stadium on July 18. Phillip Dane, who has previously run the popular Hollywood and Fairfax High Flea Markets, hopes to eventually rival the size of the Rose Bowl's massive monthly event. Of his latest endeavor Dane says, "We're talking about the most recognized, sought after and beautiful properties in all of Southern California. It's Dodger Stadium people." The opening bash will be hosted by celeb DJ Rick Dees, with surprise musical performances and live entertainment throughout the day. The market will eventually host up to 2,500 vendors, selling sustainable goods, vintage, new merchandise, and antiques.
