Philippines Training Citizens To Find Jobs Abroad As Maids (VIDEO)

"The Philippines depends greatly on its emigrant workers, who make up for 12% of the GDP by sending money home," VJ Movement tells us, "One in every ten Filipinos works abroad." Being a domestic servant in Asia, America or Europe pays more than working in an office in the Philippines, but it also comes with risks. Not being familiar with equipment or products can lead to maids getting slapped (or worse) by their employers, so the government of the Philippines invested in schools to ensure these women would be successful abroad.
