From rude stewardesses to plasticine food, flying is a painful experience for a lot of us. As the airline industry struggles to recover from the recession, it seems like the things we took for granted -- such as free carry-on bags or friendly airline staff -- are disappearing fast.
But that's certainly not the case outside America and Great Britain. In Skytrax's annual World Airline Awards, ranked by surveys and reviews of more than 17.9 million customers, Asian carriers dominate the list, followed by the Middle East and Australia.
