This weekend, National Parks around the country will celebrate the onset of summer by letting visitors through their gates free of charge.
Needless to say, the brief respite from entry fees provides a great opportunity to escape to the mountains for a weekend. Even if you're not into the traditional activities (hiking, fishing) there are plenty of alternative activities that make a trip to one of the nation's national parks worthwhile.
