Cut Cell Phone Costs: 7 Ways To Save Money On Your Calls (PHOTOS)

Even in the age of email and Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook, sometimes, we just need to make a call.

Especially if you're calling internationally, your cell phone charges can increase quickly.

Luckily there are several ways to save money on phone calls made from your smartphone. Most of these alternatives involve VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) apps that place calls over the Internet rather than the phone's 3G network.
