U.C. Davis senior Brennan Bird seemed stunned at the sight before him. He had just finished unpacking six month's worth of his trash from cardboard boxes. The Nature and Culture major embarked on his trash collecting project on New Year's day. His plan was to live with the trash he produced in his tiny domed student cooperative living unit so that he would be encouraged to reduce his garbage output. But when heath and safety officers got wind of his project he agreed to box the trash up and store it off site.
