Last night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Chris Rock came out to talk up his new movie "Grownups," but the conversation quickly turned to Kimmel and Rock's Brookyn childhoods and insane 4th of July stories. Even though they grew up in vastly different neighborhoods, both had experiences with scary amateur fireworks artists who came close to blowing up the borough on many an Independence Day. Kimmel told of a time when he and his friends made a bomb out of firecrackers while Rock pointed out that somehow, someone always had a stick of real dynamite. To top it off, Rock even explained exactly how one attains fireworks in New York, where they are illegal. Let's just say it involves a Greyhound bus, the closest Southern state, and maybe some guns or crack. It was informative, to say the least.
