Hurricane Earl 2010: Updates, Information, Resources

Hurricane Earl 2010 is the official name for the fifth Atlantic hurricane this season (see the complete list here).

The last Hurricane Earl formed in 1998, striking the Florida panhandle, causing three fatalities and approximately $79 million in damage. There were also Hurricane Earls in 1980 and 1986, which did not affect land.

The first Atlantic hurricane of the 2010 season was Hurricane Alex. The second, third and fourth names reserved for the season: Hurricane Bonnie, Hurricane Colin and Hurricane Danielle.
