Rick Hoyt Finishes Marathon As Spastic Quadriplegic With Cerebral Palsy

Team Hoyt is made up of father, Dick Hoyt, and his son, Rick, who compete together in marathons across the country. Their motto is simply, "You can." Rick was diagnosed as a spastic quadriplegic with cerebral palsy at birth. That didn't stop Rick's parents from including Rick in his community, sports, education, and eventually, the workplace. Team Hoyt recently completed their 28th marathon, and over the years, has inspired other young individuals who struggle with physical disabilities.

NBC Nightly News' Natalie Morales visited Dick and Rick Hoyt in their hometown of Holland, Mass.
