National Parks Entrance Fees To Be Waived August 14th-16th

The National Park Service is giving nature-loving Americans a little gift on August 14th: entrance fees to 146 parks will be waived for those two days, according to USA Today.

The deal, which will run through August 16th, waives the usual $25 admittance to the major national parks (think Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Yosemite) as well as historic sites such as homes and smaller parks.

Even more, some park concession stand will offer discounts on boat rentals, horseback riding and purchases from gift shops.
