Last Sunday, Angeleno Magazine celebrated food and travel editor Brad A. Johnson and the winners of their 2010 Restaurant Awards with a food and drink fete at the Santa Monica Fairmont Hotel. Foodies got to mingle with Southern California chef celebs like Michael Cimarusti of Providence and C. J. Jacobson (Top Chef Season 3) while tasting small plates from Hatfield's, LudoBites, The Langham, Fig, and more. The proceeds from the event's tickets also went to a great cause: LA's Best.
LA Eater had the full roster of contributing restaurants before the event: "Angelini Osteria, The Bazaar, Bistro LQ, Cache, Comme Ça, Culina, Hatfield's, Jar, Josie, LudoBites, Melisse, The Langham, Fig, Nine Thirty, Petrossian, Street, Wilshire, and WP24."
At the end of June, Brad A. Johnson had built up anticipation for this year's awards by tweeting each category winner (see our slideshow here). Yesterday, Johnson expressed his appreciation and thanks for Chef's Night Out in (what else?) a tweet: "Mwha! Big wet, sloppy kiss to everyone who came out, ate, drank, spun the wheel, tossed a ring and made #ChefsNightOut such a fun time."
