Craft Beer Grows 12 Percent While Rest Of Beer Industry Shrinks

Halfway through 2010, a time when economists are projecting a slower economic recovery, the U.S. craft beer industry continues to barrel along.

Sales of craft beer grew 12 percent by revenue and 9 percent by volume during the first six months of the year compared with the same period last year, according to a report released Monday by the Brewers Association, the Boulder-based craft beer trade organization.
