Chicago film fanatics will be in for a treat this week when the 46th Chicago International Film Festival kicks off with a star-studded screening of the headlining film Stone, followed by a glamorous Hollywood reception.
Stone is directed by John Curran and stars Oscar winner Robert De Niro and Oscar nominee Edward Norton. The film weaves the parallel journeys of two men grappling with dark impulses as the line between lawman and lawbreaker narrows.
Curran and Norton are among the special guests who will be attending Thursday's screening and reception, so be sure to get your tickets and rub elbows with the international cinema stars.
This year's fest, which will run until October 21, and show more than 150 films from 50 countries. For a full schedule, head to the CIFF website.
