Charley Casserly of CBS Sports reported on Sunday that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and ex-teammate Randy Moss had to be separated in the locker room prior to Moss being traded to the Minnesota Vikings.
"The week before Moss was traded, Tom Brady and Randy Moss went toe to toe and had to be separated when this happened," Casserly said on Sunday's NFL pregame show.
According to the report, Brady was not happy with Moss' behavior and told him that he should shave his beard. Moss allegedly responded, telling Brady to cut his hair and that he looks like a girl.
However, Peter King of Sports Illustrated and "Football Night In America" cited two sources and said the incident never happened, according to ProFootballTalk.
Moss, who went on a long rant about his contract situation after a Week 1 victory, was traded to the Vikings last week.
UPDATE: Brady is the latest to deny that he and Moss feuded.
