Former Blackhawk Puts His French Inspired Home Up For Sale (PHOTOS)

A Roscoe Village home inspired by the French countryside is up for sale. Aside from its sweet interior, it's also where former Chicago Blackhawk and Stanley Cup winner Dustin "Big Buff" Byfuglien used to live.

Byfuglien put his home, located at 1822 W. School St., up for sale when he was traded to Atlanta in June. Byfuglien paid $1.26 million for the place in December 2008 and invested an additional $75,000 in home improvements.

This 4,200 square-foot home has 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, along with three fireplaces.

"It's a really neat home," said Curt Ratcliff, an @properties real estate agent. "He [Byfuglien] absolutely loved the house."
