It has been reported that wide receiver Randy Moss has been claimed off waivers by the Tennessee Titans.
SI.com first reported the rumor that Tennessee might make a claim around 3pm Wednesday, and the Titans followed up with an official announcement at 4pm ET.
Tennessee stood 23rd in line based on the rules of waive wire process which offers waived players to teams in inverse order to current rankings. After the other 22 teams turned down the offer, the Titans agreed to take over $3.888 million of Moss's $6.4 million contract with the Vikings.
The Minnesota Vikings released Moss four games after trading a third-round draft pick to the New England Patriots.
