If it seems the Black Friday hype is starting earlier this year, you're not wrong. Retailers are more competitive than ever before and Black Friday ads are being released -- and leaked -- at a rapid rate.
Just like last year, the deals on Black Friday itself will be extreme. But unlike the past two years, the economy is somewhat improved and shoppers have shown a willingness to spend again, albeit more conservatively. Beware of fake bargains and trumped-up deals. The most extreme deals, doorbusters, will unfortunately be in short supply. You'll have to get up very early to snag the discounts you really want.
