Emma Roberts, Vera Farmiga In Compeition: Sundance 2011 Lineup Announced

The Sundance Film Festival, one of the most heavily-attended and celebrity-studded film festivals in the US, announced their 2011 lineup today in Los Angeles. Running from Jan. 20 to 30, 2011 in Park City, Utah, this year's slate of 58 films in competition include The Untitled Sam Levinson Project starring Demi Moore, Kate Bosworth, and Ellen Barkin, Higher Ground, starring Up In The Air's Vera Farmiga, Homework starring Emma Roberts, Freddie Highmore, and Rita Wilson, Terri, starring John C. Reilly, and a documentary about the man who long played everyone's favorite Sesame Street character, called BEING ELMO: A Puppeteer's Journey. These films (and their competitors) will be vying for the win in one of four categories: U.S. Dramatic Competition, U.S. Documentary Competition, World Cinema Dramatic Competition, and World Cinema Documentary. The festival also features six out-of-competition sections also to be announced this week. Find the full lineup of films here
