Cobble Hill Wallpaper Store Has Unusual Offerings (VIDEO)

WATCH: Scratch & Sniff Wallpaper Store In Cobble Hill

Wallpaper has become of the hottest new home design trends in the past few years. People have begun taking the initiative and purchasing the paper themselves (rather than using an interior designer) and using it in nontraditional ways like on single walls or as an artistic focal point in a room.

Cobble Hill's Flavor Paper is by far one of the most unique and original wallpaper design labs. Resembling something closer to a nightclub than a wallpaper studio, Flavor Paper uses screen printing techniques to offer customers on-demand designs and individualized service.

One of their most unique creations is scratch-and-sniff paper, which was a collaboration between Flavor Paper and Michael Angelo of Wonderland Beauty Parlor. The brightly-colored "Fruit Cocktail Collection" has pop art designs like Cherry Forever (which smells like cough syrup) Tutti Frutti and B-a-n-a-n-a-s. Rolls of paper start at $150 and can be as much as $400.

Brooklyn Today and Brooklyn Independent Television interviewed Flavor Paper owner, Jon Sherman and visited the store. Click through past the long intro.
