CNN's iReport Features Citizens' Footage From 194 Countries (VIDEO)

In 2006, CNN introduced a new mode of citizen journalism -- iReport, which allows users to share news stories that wouldn't ordinarily get coverage.

Four years later, members of CNN's robust audience has now shared personal footage from 194 countries, segments of which the site has brought together for this retrospective video. Whether it's a shot of a rainbow over a quaint European hamlet or a riot in South America, the result is a compelling, around-the-world snapshot produced by citizens rather than a professional camera team.
