Prince William & Kate Middleton Planning To Live Without Servants: Report

Prince William and Kate Middleton plan to live without servants after their marriage and until the prince finishes his tour of duty, according to a report by the Telegraph UK. A senior royal source told the British newspaper:

"They want to do their duty and make sure they are a real asset to the country but they are private individuals who want to get on with their lives."

"Prince William is not into extravagance and, like any other young officer in the armed forces, that is how he chooses to live his life. He and Catherine live without domestic staff and they wouldn't do it any other way. That's the life they want to lead."

The Telegraph also mentioned that the royal couple believes servants would "ruin the intimacy of their relationship." The pair does, however, have bodyguards 24 hours a day at their cottage on Anglesey.

By contrast, Prince Charles has 149 attendants, including butlers, chauffeurs, valets and chefs.
