We've been through customs on the way to Basel and suffered the recent growing pains of the exclusively-online VIP Art Fair, but have never seen anything quite like the Kinetica Art Fair in the UK. Focused on the art of movement (in both literal and conceptual ways), the Kinetica Art Fair plays host to artists, galleries, and organizations who display, according to the fair's website, "kinetic, electronic, robotic, sound, light, time-based and multi-disciplinary new media art, science and technology."
The fair closes this weekend, but the BBC caught up with some of the artists who displayed this year to see what exactly movement means to them. There is a mechanical, conversational zoo, a man whose ear is growing from his arm, and incredible light and sound sculptures. Take a look and give us your opinion in the comments.
