Wynkoop Buys Old Rocky Mountain Diner Building

The historic downtown building of the former Rocky Mountain Diner will be purchased by Wynkoop Holdings Inc., the Denver Daily News has learned.

Frances Koncilja, the current owner of the Ghost Building, has told the Denver Daily News that Wynkoop has entered into an agreement to purchase the building at 18th and Stout.

Wynkoop Holdings, owner of the Wynkoop Brewing Company, founded by Gov. John Hickenlooper in 1988, is expected to open a restaurant on the first floor of the building, where the neighborhood staple Rocky Mountain Diner was previously located.
