Rockies Opening Day: No Tix? Best Sports Bars

No tickets for the Rockies Opening Day? it's no excuse to miss the home game season opener against the Arizona Diamondbacks on April 1. First pitch is thrown at 2:10pm, so get to these sports bars early and grab a good seat -- they'll fill up fast!

Sports Column: One of LoDo's premiere sports bars, it's going to be packed and wild but filled with passionate fans -- put on your purple gear and pull up a stool in front of their dozens of HD monitors. $2.50 house wine, wells, beer bottles and $3 Red Bull drop shots during game time.
1930 Blake St.; 303-296-1930

LoDo's Bar and Grill: Across the street from Coors Field and with a 4,000 square foot rooftop patio that cannot be beat for game day, there are over 50 hi-def screens, drink deals and cheap pizza and burgers. You can watch the game on the bar TVs while hearing the Coors Field crowd roaring live.
1946 Market St.; 303-293-8555

Jackson's: This Denver sports bar tradition is no more than a 100 feet from Coors Field. Boasting 65 HD TVs and projection screens, you won't miss a single crack of the bat.
1520 20th St.; 303-298-ROCK

Govnr's Park: It's not technically a sports bar, but that's why it's so much fun to watch the game here -- not overcrowded with the frat pack, great beers, several high def screens, and it's filled to capacity with fans.
672 Logan St.; 303-831-8605

Crown Lanes Bowling Center and Sports Bar: If you're looking for a dive with equal proportion of hipsters and weirdos, this bowling alley sports bar -- right out of Big Lebowski -- is the place to be. Order yourself a Caucasian like The Dude himself and watch the Rocks pummel the Diamondbacks.
