Before she was a competitive dancer, Kirstie Alley was a comedic actress. It seems she's doing her best to combine both talents to woo the American public.
The colorful "Dancing With The Stars" celebrity competitor had another misstep on Monday night, losing her shoe mid-dance with her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Luckily, the shoe didn't go very far, and Alley stayed on the floor for a short period of time, slipping the loose shoe back on her waltzing foot.
It's the latest mishap for Alley, who fell last week during her dance. Chmerkovskiy took the blame for that one, and the duo recovered to put up a high score. Still, between that fall and last night's accident, Alley is getting frustrated.
“I’m not doing a sitcom. I’m actually doing a dancing show!” she told reporters after the show (via Entertainment Weekly). “I’m tired of having to recover. I would just like to do something right. I don’t feel like I’m jinxed, but I feel like I need to get my s**t together. When people are accident prone, there is something going on with them. There is something going on. Our rehearsals were swell. We’re bi**hin’ in rehearsals. If you could just sort of tune into the rehearsals…”
Later, Alley called herself "the freak show."
