Weekend Agenda: Mud, Greeks, Renaissance, PrideFest

This weekend is colorful, artsy and purely entertaining -- and we're not just talking about PrideFest; life-sized board games, drag queens, mud and medieval merrymaking take over our fair city.

Marvelous Mud: Get your hands dirty at Denver Art Museum's newest exhibit Marvelous Mud: Clay Through the Ages. In addition to magnificent pieces throughout the entire museum, you'll find a hands-on studio in the Hamilton Building where kids and adults alike can model clay and give a pottery wheel a try.

It's All Greek To Me: We know you've always been curious about that huge gold dome off Alameda -- now's your chance to get up close and take a peek inside at this weekend's annual Greek Festival. Hellenic, Cretan and Greek folk dancers will keep you entertained while you sample Ouzo and OD on the city's best gyros and saganaki.

Delicious Wishes: Indulge in an evening of vodka martinis, culinary morsels and raffle prizes at this fundraiser for Colorado's Make-A-Wish Foundation. If you're up for a little competition, get set to battle in the silent auction for items from Hapa Sushi, Frontier Airlines, Denver Art Museum and more.

KidSpree: This is a kidtastic festival focused entirely on the young 'uns. Skip through Kandy Lane, Tot Town and a life-size Chutes & Ladders or Hi Ho! Cherry-O forest before getting creative at a slew of colorful and imagination-inspiring zones. Expect to come home with painted faces and tie-dyed clothing.

Renaissance Fest: Tighten your corset and polish up your armor -- Larkspur's annual Renaissance Fest is in full swing, bringing with it knights, wenches and plenty of food on a stick. Festivities are held rain or shine.
