'Glee' stars Naya Rivera, Kevin McHale, and Jenna Ushkowitz joined fans at the Samsung AT&T Spring Fling last week in advance of their 4 sold out New York area shows. Throughout the tour the stars had hosted Meet & Greets with fans at local AT&T / Samsung stores and lucky winners were flown to New York for the event and concert.
Two of the four concerts in the New York area were filmed for their upcoming 3D film, in theaters August 12. The cast ran through a plethora of hits from this season of the show, with highlights including former Broadway star Lea Michele on "Don't Rain On My Parade" and a stirring version of "Empire State Of Mind" to the hometown crowd. The show is a change from last year's much smaller outing.
“We’re playing arenas now instead of theaters,” Rivera told MTV. “I guess the easiest way to put it is, when you leave the dressing room and walk up and see the thousands of people and thousands of cameras, that’s the one thing that’s different. Just the amount of people. It’s overwhelming and so much fun.”
The group makes their first stop overseas this Wednesday, with shows in Manchester, London and Dublin.
