The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took Calgary on Thursday, arriving at the city's airport and heading over to a rodeo demonstration as part of a government reception at the BMO Centre.
The pair of activities meant a pair of outfits for the former-Kate Middleton. She stepped off the plane in a canary yellow "Primrose Dress," with puffed sleeves, a collar and a flyaway skirt by Jenny Packham. She completed the look with her LK Bennett Sledge2 pumps and Natalie clutch.
But such a frock wouldn't do to watch bucking livestock bounce around. So Catherine made a quick change into a Western-inspired Alice by Temperley "Armonia" blouse, slouchy jeans, cowgirl boots -- and, of course, a ten-gallon hat.
On Friday morning, William and Kate kicked off the Calgary Stampede. Wills, who apparently unlike every guy we know only owns one plaid shirt, repeated his button-down from the day before. Catherine picked a lacy blouse (the Temperley "Rodeo Shirt", in fact) for the occasion. They later visited the Calgary Zoo, where she debuted a crimson Catherine Walker coat and dress, and Queen Elizabeth's maple leaf brooch, also seen on Canada Day.
