Visit The Harlem House From Royal Tenenbaums

The AV Club went one step farther than dressing up as Richie Tenenbaum for Halloween: they visited the Harlem house where Wed Anderson shot the Royal Tenenbaums. Will Sweeney, the location scout of the film, says that Anderson transformed the house "on Archer Avenue" over six months into the Tenenbaums' palace, and that many of the ideas from the film came from the physical structure of the house. "As soon as Wes got into the house, he had the whole concept of the three children with the three levels," Sweeney said.

So get your camel hair suit and aviators on, because you will one day have to visit this house and wish you lived in that invented, fantasy New York.
