Philadelphia's Chase Utley pulled off arguably the most exciting play in baseball on Tuesday night at Citizens Bank Park.
In the bottom of the 6th inning of the Phillies-Giants game, Utley crushed one to deep center off Barry Zito field and sent center fielder Andres Torres to the warning track. The ball bounced off the wall and rolled toward right field, setting up the perfect scenario for the Phillies second baseman.
As the crowd rose to their feet, Utley dashed past third base and took a headfirst dive into home plate to complete the inside-the-park-home run.
According to Tater Trot Tracker, he rounded the bases in 15.2 seconds.
The Phillies went on to win 7-2.
