In a remarkable display of jumping ability, flopping and reverse planking, this MLS referee took quite a tumble during the MLS All-Stars game against Manchester United.
While working along the end-line against Manchester United defender Patrice Evra, MLS forward Omar Cummings took a swing at the ball, which Evra deflected. As the ball bounced out of bounds, the linesman, apparently trying to move out of the way, flopped backwards unnecessarily.
Evra and the linesman got a laugh out of the flop, and Evra would likely keep laughing after the match as his Man U squad destroyed the very best players the MLS has to offer 4-0.
The game was such a mismatch that it prompted Ives Galarcep of Fox Sports to argue that the entire MLS All-Star format needs to be overhauled.
