For some it is the momentary fear of the worst whenever there is an unexpected jolt or loud outburst.
For others it is the stocking footed indignities forced on air travelers. And there are some who must find ways to raise children while their partner is at war in Afghanistan.
These challenges pale, of course, when compared to the losses faced by those whose loved ones were senselessly murdered on September 11, 2001. But the shock waves from the crashes of those four jetliners reach around the world and continue to this day.
