Dominique T. Frazier Dead: Bowie State Student Fatally Stabbed In Roommate Fight

Horrific: Student Stabbed To Death By Roommate

A Bowie State student was found fatally stabbed in her dorm room on Thursday after an alleged fight with her roommate.

Police discovered Dominique T. Frazier, an 18-year-old Washington, D.C. native, bleeding in hallway of a dorm on the Maryland university's campus around 8 p.m. on Thursday night. She was taken to hospital and pronounced dead at 8:44 p.m.

The Washington Post has more:

Investigators believe Frazier and her 19-year-old roommate got into an argument that turned into a fight, leading to the fatal stabbing inside their suite. The roommate, who was not identified by police because she has not been charged, fled the scene but turned herself in to county police about four hours after the incident.

It was not clear what the women argued about.

"The entire university community is distressed that this type of violence has occurred within our midst," the university said in a statement. " Counselors.. are on hand to assist any students or staff in need of support as the campus begins to deal with this tragic loss."
