U.N. General Assembly 2011: A Retrospective Of Iranian President Ahmadinejad's Controversial Statements

As world leaders gather in New York for the annual United Nations General Assembly meetings, one of the most highly anticipated guests will be Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Ahmadinejad's visits to the world body rarely go unnoticed. During last year's conference the Iranian president suggested 9/11 was an inside job; in a 2009 U.N. meeting diplomats walked out of the conference room when Ahmadinejad insulted Israel; and during a 2007 visit to Columbia University the president asked to question "certain aspects" of the Holocaust.

As Ahmadinejad prepares for his next speech in New York, take a peek at some of his most controversial statements ever.
