Philadelphia Eagles reserve quarterback Vince Young recently revealed that someone has been impersonating him in the Washington, D.C. area. The impersonator has allegedly been making appearances and soliciting money on behalf of The Vince Young Foundation since June.
On Monday, Young discussed the situation with NBC Washington.
"I want to get it out there to the news and everybody to keep a watch out for this guy, because he's not me," Young said on Monday. "I heard that he has been taking money, taking pictures with little kids at hospitals. It's been real sick."
On Tuesday, Young tweeted the identity of the man allegedly impersonating him.
According to WUSA9 News in Georgtown, Pittman is also a registered sex offender. Pittman is listed in the Maryland Sex Offender Registry. The 33-year-old is classified as a Tier III offender and his sex offense is reported to have been committed out of state.
