Bright lights take center stage this Saturday as Greenpoint plays host to New York's Nuit Blanche, the annual festival celebrating evening public art all around the world. The free festival includes a ton of interesting art installations, dance performances, and video projections from both new and established artists.

Atlantic Antic
Where: Atlantic Avenue between Hicks Street and Fourth Avenue, Brooklyn

One of Brooklyn's favorite street fairs is making its way back on Sunday rain or shine! Live performances, delectable treats from local vendors, and kid-friendly activities line up Atlantic Avenue to span across four neighborhoods to bring you the city's largest street festival.

An Evening with Jon Brion

There are few musicians as prolific as Jon Brion, the composer behind such soundtracks as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Punch-Drunk Love. Check out Brion's rare performance this Sunday at music hub Le Poisson Rouge for an intimate evening with the well renowned musician. Can't make it this weekend? Brion also graces us with performances on Monday and Tuesday next week.

Life-sized Bananagrams
Where: Prospect Park, northeast corner of the Long Meadow, Brooklyn

A sucker for board games? Then you won't want to miss this life-sized version of the popular word game Bananagrams. Grab some friends to join you in Prospect Park (or go and make new ones!) while trying to score extra points by spelling out New York street names.

The Engagements: 80's Dance Party

We're guessing you missed out on Louis C.K tickets for tonight, right? Fear not. The Bell House is also hosting the popular wedding cover band, The Engagements, to play your favorite 80's hits featuring music from The Smiths, The Cars, and Michael Jackson. Who knows! You might be able to hear some stand up coming from the main room too.

Love Night
Where: BMW Guggenheim Lab, Houston Street at 2nd Avenue

Are our brains pre-programmed to love? The Guggenheim Lab invites some brainy fellows on Friday evening to bring a party celebrating love with a night of "experiments in trust, play, and radical conviviality."
