Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum was sued Wednesday in the San Francisco Superior Court by a former landlord for allegedly causing $350,000 worth of damage to a furnished Mission District apartment he rented. According to SFGate, the apartment is at 141 Hampshire Street in San Francisco.
Landlord Mindy Freile reported damage to the bedding, doors, carpet, pillows, kitchenware, linens, furniture, lights, artwork, decorations, patio furniture, appliances and mirrors, among other things, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

Lincecum's agent dismissed the lawsuit, calling it "unwarranted," and said he would not dignify the claim with a response, NBC Sports reported.
"My belief is there was some kind of party that left it in really bad condition," said Freile's attorney, Jonathan Bonstein, to the Mercury News. "Maybe there's a perfectly good explanation on his side, but we haven't heard it yet."
Lincecum, a two-time Cy Young award winner, faced legal troubles once before when he was cited for marijuana possession during a traffic stop on October 30, 2009, in his home state of Washington. "I know that as a professional athlete I have a responsibility to conduct myself appropriately both on and off the field," the athlete said in a statement after the citation. "I certainly have learned a valuable lesson through all of this and I promise to do better in the future."
