Runway photo: Mary Katrantzou Spring/Summer 2012, photo from go runway.
At first glance, this whimsical printed dress from designer Mary Katrantzou's spring/summer 2012 collection appears to be a mad mix of colors and patterns that don't seem to mesh. But when we took the dress apart by color, we were surprised to find that the hues actually come together quite nicely to form a very feminine palette that can easily be picked up and used inside a bedroom or a library. If you think an array of green, pink, and lilac pillows are too busy for your taste, go with three colors from this look that you like -- you already know they'll match and offset each other nicely.
