"Parks and Recreation" stars Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones, along with "Glee" starlet Naya Rivera and "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Chaz Bono, are standing up to bullies in the latest GLAAD anti-bullying initiative.
The new PSAs address bullying targeted at gay youth, which has unfortunately claimed multiple lives this year. The lastest victim was Jamey Rodemeyer, the 14-year-old boy who recently took his life after suffering years of bullying. Lady Gaga paid tribute to Rodemeyer at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas a few weeks ago.
Also appearing in the PSAs are Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott, "Milk" director and screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, Ariel Winter of "Modern Family," the cast of ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars," Vinny Guadagnino from "Jersey Shore" and "Extra's" Mario Lopez.
GLAAD also announced plans for "Spirit Day," on Oct. 20, in which corporations will adopt purple logos and people will wear purple to stand against LGBT bullying.
