Rangers vs. Tigers LIVE UPDATES: Texas Looks To Reach World Series In ALCS Game 5

The Texas Rangers look to clinch their second consecutive trip to the World Series on Thursday at Comerica Park. Unfortunately, they have to go through star pitcher Justin Verlander.

Texas grabbed a 3-1 lead over Detroit with another extra-inning win, and another home run from slugger Nelson Cruz in Game 4.

Ace C.J. Wilson will take the mound for Texas, coming off a performance in Game 1 when he went just 4.2 innings and gave up two earned runs on six hits (plus five walks).

Will the Rangers send the Tiger home? Or will Verlander and Detroit keep the series alive with a win at home?

Stay tuned here for live updates throughout the game and tweet to @HuffPostSports to join in the conversation.
