The Body and Soul fitness center allows passengers to work with or without professional trainers. There are special sports classes for kids and teens. German is the official language used on AIDA ships.
AccommodationsThere are cabins and suites available on the AIDAluna. Many rooms have balconies, and all rooms are furnished with warm colors and teak wood. Suites are available for families cruising with children.
CostA 14-day North American cruise on the AIDAluna is listed at $1,549 per person. This includes a room with a view of the ocean. The trip includes stops in New York, Miami and the Bahamas.
ExcursionsA recommended AIDAluna excursion is the Caribbean. Passengers can sip rum punch, relax on the beach or take a tour. Stops include the Dominican Republic, British Virgin Islands and Venezuela.
Dining ExperienceThere are buffet and a la carte restaurants on the AIDAluna. In addition to the restaurants that are included in the price of a cruise, there are three restaurants that charge extra. There is Rossini, an Italian restaurant, a steakhouse and a sushi bar.
Maiden VoyageThe AIDAluna started its maiden voyage March 22, 2009. The ship sailed from Hamburg, Germany, to Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
