Anthony Anderson Talks Dallas Cowboys And The NFL: Love Of The Game

Anthony Anderson: On Why The Cowboys Need A Better Quarterback

As part of an occasional HuffPost BlackVoices series featuring public figures professing their love for sports, we present "Love Of The Game." We recently caught up with comedian-actor Anthony Anderson, who opened up on his favorite NFL teams and what the Dallas Cowboys desperately need to pull out a winning season.

"Sunday is my chill day. We'll get up, either I'll cook a big breakfast or we go out to brunch, me and the family. And then from there, we're back home, depending on what time of the year it is. We're big football fans in our house. So every Sunday we're sitting up, watching every game that's on. We have the NFL Ticket, so we watch it all. I'm an L.A. boy, so I always got to root for the Raiders. I grew up wanting to play for the Cowboys, so I can understand their pain right now. Romo is over-praised when he does a good thing and then over-criticized when he does bad things. So you know, I do think we do need a better quarterback." -- As told to Brennan Williams
