Where have you seen T.J. Miller before?
You may not know Miller as a stand-up comedian, but you've almost certainly seen him (or at least heard his voice) in movies such as "Cloverfield" and "How to Train Your Dragon." Miller has an impressive filmography of hits under his belt, and but he's not a household name as a comic -- yet. But when Miller's first Comedy Central special airs next weekend and is released on DVD on Nov. 15, audiences will likely see him as a talented stand-up comic in addition to a welcome film presence.
But until then, we'll likely be the guy from the thing. In this sketch almost certainly pulled from Miller's real life, a simple conversation escalates into where, exactly, some tough strangers have seen him before. Hint: It's not often that bringing up the name of a kid's CGI movie evokes a "Scanners"-like scenario.
Check out an exclusive clip from Miller's new special, "No Real Reason," below. You can also pick up his absurd comedy/hip-hop album "The Extended Play EP," which we recently featured in our Guide to New Comedy Albums.
