After polls in several swing states indicated that many voters would prefer a "generic Republican candidate" over President Obama in 2012, two questions spring to mind. One, does anything about Mitt Romney not scream "generic Republican candidate"? And two, what exactly are they looking for in this elusive politician?
Jimmy Kimmel had his own guess of what voters want in an average, undefined Republican. In fact, they even made a campaign commercial for that guy. If only politics were quite so easy as they are for the Generic Republican Candidate.
But the real question remains: Could he beat Stephen Colbert's Generic Republican?
