Pediatrician Busted In Child Porn Sting

A Georgia pediatrician faces federal child pornography charges after getting rounded up in an multi-state sting.

Yancy Craft, also known as Travis Mobley, was arrested by FBI agents in Columbus, Ga. on Dec. 1 "after coming to the attention of undercover officers on the Internet," according to an FBI press release.

The case against the 41-year-old doctor began in Memphis, Tenn., where Craft once resided. When Craft moved to Columbus for a new job posting, the investigation followed. The suspect had not yet set up a practice in Columbus, according to WSFA.

He has been charged with possession and receipt of child pornography.

A U.S. Magistrate judge released the suspect on a recognizance bond on Thursday afternoon, but ordered him to wear a monitoring bracelet and barred him from having unsupervised contact with minors, possessing a firearm, and leaving his home between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m., The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
