Lea Michele and Ashton Kutcher may have looked more than cozy at the "New Year's Eve" Hollywood red carpet premiere, but friends of the "Glee" actress told me that the pair is strictly professional.
"There is no truth to the rumors that they are a couple," said one friend of Michele's. "If they were dating, they would have kept as far apart as possible on the red carpet. Do you really think Ashton is ready to announce his first post-Demi romance on a red carpet in front of all the entertainment media in L.A.?"
It isn't a far-fetched notion that romantic comedy co-stars would find love on- and off-screen. Just think of the most famous on-set hook up -- Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." But my source assured me that just isn't the case for Kutcher and Michele, who are both newly single.
"Lea is his love interest in the ensemble film but not in real life," Michele's friend continued. "She just split up with her boyfriend [actor Theo Stockman] and isn't ready to start dating yet, and neither is he."
