Nikki Blonsky certainly hasn't quit her day job. The "Hairspray" actress is taking her hair height days to new levels -- Blonsky, who recently earned her cosmetology license, is working at a Long Island salon, according to Radar Online.
"Its true Im workin@ Superstar Salon as a makeup artist & more Im proud 2 b workin & helpin pay bills BUT ill NEVER loose sight of my dreams," Blonsky tweeted, confirming her employment.
From sweeping the floor to applying makeup, the 23-year-old is reportedly a jack of all trades when it comes to the beauty world. And although she seems content with her current career, that doesn't mean she's given up on the silver screen.
"Just cause Im part time workin doesnt mean Im gonna give up on my dreams n dont give up on urs I might book something big soon keep positive," Blonsky continued via Twitter.
But this isn't Blonsky's first reported post-Hollywood gig. Earlier this year, there were rumors that she was working in a shoe store. But the actress was quick to shoot down the press' foot fantasy: "So much false reporting! & false quotes. NO career changing! just experimented 4 a day working @ a friends boutique 2 see what it was like," she tweeted in July.
As far as we're concerned, there's no shame in a hard day's work whether it's on a movie set or in a beauty parlor.
