A grenade and gun attack in the eastern Belgian city of Liege left five people dead, including the attacker, and 119 wounded on Dec. 13, 2011.

A 23-month-old baby died in a hospital late Tuesday after being wounded in the attack near a Christmas market in a city center square. Others killed in the attack included two teenage boys, aged 15 and 17, and a 75-year-old woman. Some 52 people were treated for injuries by medics at a field hospital set up near the scene while others went to hospitals in the area.

The attacker was identified as Nordine Amrani, 33, of Liege.
