Just what Western Conference opponents needed: Another way for Blake Griffin to score on them this season.
Although he was away from basketball for a few months, even taking up professional ping pong for a spell, it appears that Blake Griffin isn't showing many signs of rust. On Tuesday, Griffin, who is renowned for his amazing dunking abilities, swished a shot at Clippers practice from beyond half-court while sitting down.
Although the range he showed off was impressive, now that the Clippers have All-Star point guard Chris Paul dishing the ball for them, there's a good chance Griffin won't need to heave it up from deep to get buckets this season. In fact, Griffin responded to the deal by declaring that "It's going to be lob city" in Los Angeles, which is great news for dunk enthusiasts, and not so great news for every other team in the NBA.
