We're with the crowd here that Matt Shapiro's trailer Cinescape 2011 is one of the best, if not best movie mashup we've seen this year. Shapiro has managed to cut 250 of this year's movies into a coherent single piece, making one of the weakest years for original scripts look somehow inspired. As the Atlantic points out, Shapiro's artistry comes after some considerable practice. He made trailers for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010. The full list of movies for this year's is here -- including the only non-2011 source, which intros the piece, "Sunset Boulevard" (1950).
